The Science of identity

This little effort is to try sharing to anyone interested the SCIENCE OF IDENTITY—an ancient wisdom with a new name, as popularized by Jagad Guru.  The Science of Identity (SOI)—the knowledge of the truth about our real identity is actually a harmonious blend of science, religion, philosophy, and good conscience.  It is the Absolute Truth—not man-made—it is Godsend.  In the SOI, there are applications of science, religion, philosophy, and good conscience, but they do not contradict each other.  The SOI states that:

Part 1 – Our Essence.  The person—the individual self—you and me—we are not our material bodies—1. the gross physical body, which includes the brain, and 2. the subtle body, which comprises the mind, intelligence, and the false ego.  Also known as the “astral” body, the subtle body is still material in composition that covers the pure soul.  We are spiritual beings whose original [pure] nature is full of: 1. knowledge, 2. eternity, and 3. bliss.  For the soul, there is neither birth nor death—no creation and no dissolution.  Without the spirit-soul, the body is just an inanimate [dead] matter.  This is also taught by Lord Jesus Christ: “The source of life is spirit; the flesh profits nothing.”—John 6:63

Part 2 – Our Position.  Being spiritual in nature, we are not all-powerful, we are not the Supreme Dominator.  We are gods, yes, but only small letter “g”.  We are all God’s dominated parts and parcels—inseparable from God, like the rays of the sun inseparable from the sun globe.  Yet, because of our desire to be God or enjoyers separate from the real God, we “fell down” from our original posts in the spiritual world “like lightning falling from heaven” and were forced to be born in this material world—to suffer the consequences of bad actions that we have performed and to learn from it from experience (not a smart approach to learning).  This is known as bad karma.  Also, due to good actions we have performed in the past, we enjoy good reactions, and this is good karma.  And that is why there are people who are beautiful or ugly, rich or poor, fit or with disability, etc., or all of the good things or all of the bad things at the same time. (ø_ø)  This is also taught by Jesus: “As you sow, so shall you reap.”

Part 3 – Our Natural Function.  As spiritual beings, material things and material activities cannot satisfy us.  The natural activity that could really make us happy is also spiritual: rendering loving service to the Supreme Spiritual Being—a personal relationship with Him.  If we just water the leaves, fruits, and flowers of a tree without watering the roots, eventually the tree will die.  But by just watering the roots, it automatically nourishes all the leaves, branches, twigs, flowers, and fruits of the tree.  God is likened to the roots—the source of all beings and we are just the parts.  Satisfying God, the Complete Whole satisfies all living entities.  The goal is bhakti [love for God].  The basic teaching of Jesus is also bhakti: “Love the Lord your God will all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.  This is the foremost and the greatest commandment.”—Matthew 22:37-38
